Medellin as the great cities of the world is facing problems of pollution to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. This essay aims to show some problems and look for a possible solution.

Today it is not a secret that the Medellín river is not in optimum quality but is also know that in the metropolitan area, has a treatment plant wastewater in the town of Itagüí, and is already working on the construction of the second plant in the town of Bello to treat wastewater northern area, the difficulty arises in that the plants are only designed to treat organic pollutants and need another option to combat inorganic contaminants (chemical).

And these processes of chemical waste treatment result in huge expenses to those companies which could bring lower profits, unemployment, and in some cases bankruptcy.

One possible solution to this problem for companies, whether powerful or not,
