The prime objective of UNITED CITIES is to give Northamerica's cities a voice in the decision-making processes of the institutions and to help them formulate their own ideas, for example in discussions about how to use Structural Funds, environmental issues or services of general interest.The exchange of experience and the development of common strategies and projects are other focal concerns.

4. Headquarters City

After the objectives and projects are indentified, a city with diversity is needed, the option would be Guadalajara, because is a place with a lot of culture to be shown, museums, towns, restaurants, nature, industry , commerce but also can offer comfort (international airports, hotels, etc) and infrastructure to be a host city.

The conferences are annual so Guadalajara is perfect to develop relations between the members, the city is able to represent the beauty of the country, the government is also an advantage because fully supports this events that are so important for the development of the city; also is a good thing that is located in the center /western-pacific area of the country, has great climate and is considered the third most business friendly.

There are a lot of reasons why should Guadalajara be a headquarter, another option is to try the first year in this city and evaluate the results for the next annual conference.
