The importance of having a well-trained human team in companies. Although technology and facilities are important, if there is no trained human team to carry out the activities, companies will not be successful. The proper management of human potential allows companies to increase the efficiency of their processes through the achievement of their mission and the development of people in the same direction towards shared values and vision. Therefore, it is mandatory to have a proper strategy with clear and concise objectives.
Companies can improve their processes and obtain sustained profitability by having a committed and satisfied work team. When establishing improvement projects, it is essential to trust people and the added value they can bring to the organization. Psychology is key to understanding the complexity of each person, studying their behavior and adapting it to the organizational structure of the company and the functions they will perform. Human resources management consists of the planning, organization, development, coordination and control of techniques capable of promoting the efficient performance of personnel. Work motivation is primarily based on maintaining corporate cultures and values that are conducive to high performance, so it is necessary to consider what management can do to encourage employees to give their best in a way that is in the organization's interests as well as their own.
Indeed, organizational climate influences employee behavior, and this depends on the type of leadership and organizational policies in place. To motivate employees, managers must promote certain activities, but working as a team can be difficult due to several variables. When employees go through a phase of demotivation, their performance decreases and the quality of their work is affected, which can lead to inefficiencies.
There are some techniques to increase the work motivation of the personnel which are the integration of the worker to the job, setting goals and objectives, adequate salary valuation and the application of incentives and rewards are effective techniques to increase the work motivation of the personnel because it is important that the workers are qualified for the job and understand the procedures of the task, have personal and team goals, receive adequate remuneration and are rewarded for their good performance.
Company managers must collaborate with operational managers to use resources efficiently. Employees must be trained and committed to their work to facilitate the achievement of objectives and reduce resistance to change. Employee behavior is key to job performance, and employee engagement occurs when a relationship of affection and loyalty to the company emerges.
Improving employee commitment to the company can be achieved by providing ongoing coaching, sharing company goals and objectives, training managers to recognize and motivate employees, focusing on goal setting, offering better benefits, asking co-workers for feedback, and finding innovative ways to show appreciation to employees. Establishing a results-driven work culture can also be very effective in achieving employee morale. Trust, confidence and motivation are key factors in achieving better job performance.
