The Government of India is being affected by poor mental health of its inhabitants. There have been some recent solutions plans for the India Mental Health, as “The Mental Health Care Bill” which is supported by the United Nations and the parliament of India to improve the infrastructure, but the bill has so far not approved. It’s known that India has the highest number of suicides in the world. Every year, according to the World Health Organization census, of 804,000 suicides recorded worldwide in 2012, 258,000 were in India, this is that more than quarter part of the total suicides. The major problem is the youth of India, between 15 and 29 years old giving a rate of 35.5 out of 100,000 of deaths.. Actually there is 1 psychiatrist for every 343,000 Indians, and that’s too few to reduce the suicide rate and mental health problems. An official approved mental health policy does not exist.
