White House Hostage

SCENE I

(Scene shows the white house, and two guards guarding a door, where the president walks in)

Mr. President: Good morning, Agents.

Lenny Walls: Good morning, Mr. President.

(Opens door)

Mr. President: Suzy?  

Suzy: In the bathroom dad!

Mr. President: Oh, I don’t mean to bother you, I just need a favor from you.

Suzy: What is it?

Mr. President: Well, as you may know, in the evening is the meeting with the US diplomacy, and since your mother –

(Suzy walks out of the bathroom)

Suzy: Do you like this dress?

Mr. President: It looks beautiful sweetie.

Suzy: Thanks dad, is for today’s party!

Mr. President: Oh, are we having a party?

Suzy: (Giggles) No, is a party of a friend.

 Mr. President: Oh, the thing is that I wanted you to come with me to the diplomacy meeting.

Suzy: (Checking her dress) You said it’s in the evening?

President: That’s right. 6 pm.

Suzy: So, that means that I can’t.

President: Can I at least know where the party is?

Suzy: You don’t have to. You worry too much, everything will be fine (kisses his forehead)

President: Suzy... I told you already, you have a high status now and you just can’t expect to go everywhere you want and go unseen, you have eyes on you all the time and-

Luzy: (Putting make-up on) And I told you already, I can take care of myself.

President: (getting mad) There’s no way you are getting out of this house today, Suzy.

Suzy: (Stopped doing whatever she is doing and stares at him) Dad… I’ve been waiting for this party way too long, and I don’t really care what you say, I’m going. Don’t worry; I’ll bring the Secret Service with me. You know the way out (Turns around and keeps fixing herself. He watches for some seconds and leaves the room.)

President: Fuentes, Lenny. I trust you both, and I want you to take care of her at that party.

Lenny: We will, sir.

(Mr. President walks away the room.)

Fuentes: (Knocks door)

Suzy: Come on in!

Fuentes: (Opens door) Are you ready to leave?

Suzy: In a minute.

Fuentes: I’ll wait for you outside.  

(Fuentes and Lenny are in the car, Suzy gets in and they leave.)

SCENE II

(At the party)

(The car parks in front of the house)

Fuentes: (Inside the car) Does your father even know you left this early?

Suzy: Nope, I’d rather that it keeps that way.

Fuentes: (Looks at Lenny and sighs) Alright… just remember, you have to be at my sight at all times.

Suzy: I will! (Gets out, Fuentes, Ortega and Lenny follow leaving the car)

Mahoma Jefferson: Suzy! I’m glad you came!

Suzy: Hey!

Stranger: Oh Suzy, you’re here!

(Suzy keeps talking to their friends, while Lenny and Fuentes watches from far)

Fuentes: I don’t see Suzy.

Lenny: Me neither.  I’ll go look for her, stay here.

(Fuentes stays there, where suddenly the lights turns off.)

Agent Fuentes: The lights just went off.

Agent Lenny: I know, but everything seems to be fine on the neighbor’s house.  

Agent Fuentes: Secure the entrance, we need to find Suzy.

(Agent Ortega closes the gates, when suddenly a shooting starts)

Agent Fuentes: There’s shooting in the backyard, Walls I need back up!

Agent Walls: On my way.

(Ortega spots from far a group of masked persons getting into a car)

Agent Ortega: I’ve spotted the shooters getting into a car! But it’s too crowded for a clean shot, Fuentes, get the car, we must chase them!

Agent Fuentes: Got it!

(He then picks up Agent Ortega and persecutes the shooters, but they lose them)

Agent Fuentes: Agent Walls, we lost the shooters. We need you to do the damage recognize and set a perimeter with CIA.

Agent Walls: Got it. (Takes out phone from pocket)

Danny McFlurry: CIA headquarters.

Agent Walls: I’m Agent Walls, clearance number Alpha, 9, Bravo, 0. A shooting just occurred on the President’s daughter party and she is currently missing, we need backup. I’m on the 211th street Northwest, house #4432

Danny McFlurry: Got it. (Screaming) Come on people, the president’s daughter is missing, this is maximum priority. Blackmore, Whitmore, get on the field now!

Blackmore: Yes sir!

(Soundtrack “Cosculluela – Cosliseo S19” plays in the background, while camera enters into one of the houses, with Big Sam and Blake Callaghan watching TV)

Big Sam:  I’m tired of this, we need to stop it, I’m tired and I want to sleep but I – (Interrupted by Blake)

Blake: (Slaps him) Calm down bro, we need to celebrate this, let’s make a party! Machete! Take out the kawamas sister!

(Machete appears)

Machete: Ah no no, que te pasa, I’m not your maid! And Sam take it easy, we’re already in this! Focus!

(Suzy appears in another room, tied by arms and legs, listening at the discussion)

Blake: Damn sister calm down!

Machete: I’m not your sister and Sam is just a simple job. We kidnap her, we give the message to the president, and we claim the reward.

Big Sam: (nervous) it’s just not that easy, I want to get out of this!

Blake: Well, you can’t now. Your name must be in the CIA or in the Interpol already.

Big Sam: I don’t care! All I know is that this is not going to end well.

(Scene ends at Suzy freeing herself of the rope)

SCENE III

(Danny appears in the White House giving the President the bad news)

Agent Ortega: The President is ready for you, sir. Follow me.

(President appears sitting in a room, when the door opens and Danny walks in)

Danny: Thanks.

President: So what’s happening?

Danny: Sir, I wanted to give you the bad news personally... I’m sorry to inform you that your daughter has been kidnapped.

President: (Hits table) How did that happened? Where was the Secret Service?

Danny: I don’t have full details sir. But we are doing everything to know exactly what happened and where she is. CIA is working on this as a high priority case.

President: Well, thanks Agent. Keep me posted.

Danny: Of course Mr. President.

(Danny walks out of the room. The President dials a number at his desk phone. Agent Fuentes answers his phone)

Agent Fuentes: Yes Mr. President?

President: I’m hearing that my daughter has been kidnapped. Is it true?

Fuentes: Yes Mr. President, it is. An armed group irrupted at the party earlier today; they killed many of our men and took her. We are working along with the CIA and investigating the crime scene.

President: Keep me notified at any advance in the investigation.

Fuentes: I will.

(Hangs up and dials a number on his cellphone)

Gaviot: CIA, how can I help you?

Fuentes: I’m a secret service agent; I need to communicate with Agent Danny.

Gaviot: I’ll connect you right now.

(Danny picks up phone)

Danny: Yes?

Fuentes: Sr., is there any advance at the investigation?

Danny: We have Blake Callaghan as a suspect. His car matches with the description of the kidnappers and was found on a river about 20 minutes earlier. He’s been on jail 2 times now. I’ll send a picture into your phone right now.

(Fuentes looks at the photo)

Fuentes: Callaghan… I know where to find him (Hangs up)

SCENE IV

(A car parks in front of a house and Fuentes comes out of it. He jumps the siege with gun on hand. He opens the door and finds Big Sam.)

Fuentes: Still! Hands in the air!

(Machete and Blake are in the kitchen and Blake shuts her. He gives her a shotgun. They both come out.)

Machete: Who are you!?

Blake: Fuentes?  

Fuentes: (Pointing at both of them) Blake, I need to speak to you.

Blake: I know you work for the CIA. Drop your weapon.

Fuentes: (Slowly putting his weapon down) I will, just listen to me…

Blake: Sam, tie him up.

(Sam ties him up)

Blake: Tape his mouth and take him to the other room.

(Sam does, and then comes out again.)

Sam: If he is here, then the CIA must know we are here men, we need to get out of here.
