Good morning everybody! Our names are Jimena Meza, Javier Galvez and Milagros Albujar. We are students of this University as well as you all who have prepared this presentation because…
- Objective of the presentation
Today we want to talk about a great opportunity to be part of a volunteer program during the winter break.
- Introduction
As we might know, the Matthew Hurricane had devastated the south of Haiti this October, causing approximately 820 deaths and taking away many houses, schools and books. As one of the results, 300 schools had been destroyed, leaving at least 100,000 children without being able to learn. That is why we are planning to go to Haiti with the intention of helping the victims of the hurricane, providing them supplies and medicines and helping to reconstruct the schools for the children.
