Introduction
This Portfolio contains a brief explanation about the four reading strategies which are scanning, skimming, previewing and predicting which allow us to perform a series of actions that help us to get a translation simple just read a series of words in English.

Another aspect that will be released in this portfolio is the use of informative texts which inform us about certain echoes which can be from important echoes to some that do not make sense but mostly come with a content of Suma importance which can be read by all types of public

Also we develop an exposure without using the dictionary of forcibly , this exposure comes within this portfolio on behalf of the teacher as but the portfolio would be too short and can have problems with it, but good the portfolio this relatively complete so that I would appreciate any constructive criticism

1.-Describes the four reading strategies

1.-predicting

The term (predicting) can refer both to the "action and the effect of predicting" as well as to the words that manifest what is foretold; In this sense, to predict something is, to announce by revelation, science or conjecture something that has to happen.

Some examples:

1. - What will happen is hard to foresee.

2. - These problems will have dramatic consequences, which are easy to predict.

2.-Previewing

It is a preview of a document which may be important to perform some actions which can harm the advancement of a project

Some examples:

1.- You will see a chart preview and the Chart Wizard.

2.- Abort the current Raw image preview.

3.-Scanning

It is a process by which you read some parts of the text without reading everything and so take a short description of this, thanks to the scanning you can shorten the texts and make exhibitions which usually are loaded with information

Some examples:

1.- I read the most important of a text to scan it easier to learn

2.- I like to see many images to scan them

4.-skimming

is to make a very fast reading of (treh words) and know that it is a text an action or something happened this is given in many newspapers for us read three words and we know what the text is and we can translate

Some examples

1.- Colombia presents the militarized version, with specially trained battalions of soldiers skimming over jungles and mountainsides, spraying defoliants from helicopter gun-ships.

2.- Some information was gathered by skimming (running the card through a data-reading device) .

2.- Describes an argumentative text

It has as its primary objective to make known an opinion through justifications or reasons in order to persuade or convince the receiver.

The argument is usually not in pure state and is usually combined with the exhibition. While exposure is limited to showing, argumentation tries to prove, convince, or change ideas. Therefore, in an argumentative text, in addition to the appellate function present in the development of the arguments, the referential function appears, in the part where It exposes the thesis.
