II. Summary: It is the story that Nick Carraway, of which little is specified in the work on its neighbor and almost the main character Mr. Gatsby, which is one of the so-called US "new rich" and possessing a fortune of murky origin . The author tells us early Gatsby, how you have to change the name (James Gatz Jay Gatsby), and begins with Dan Cody, and as it rises in its success. Gatsby is the new rich who tries to gain a foothold in the great American company. Every day rides parties at his mansion which is next to the house of Nick Carraway, and where a lot of people who do not know Gatsby go, just go for the sake of relating with people of their social class, to go deeper into that world acquiring a certain social level. When Gatsby was young, he was a soldier, and met Daisy, the woman who still loves five years later. Daisy, she was a woman of a certain social class to which he belonged, but he corresponded with his love. But when he went to war she knew not wait for his return and married Tom Buchanan. The couple that form part of high society and had a daughter called Pammy. But Tom Buchanan does not like neither Gatsby nor the way it has to act. It is as if he knew what happened between Gatsby and Daisy long, and tries to discover the past of Jay. Daisy was a cousin of Nick and meetings they used to do Daisy, Tom and Nick, was also Jordan Baker who was a very famous golf player to Nick loved, and which would have many stories but end badly. Tom knew Nick well and could not imagine he could deceive his cousin, but Tom Buchanan had a mistress that was called Myrtle Wilson, who lived in New York and she was married to George Wilson who is a car mechanic. When Gatsby Daisy began to meet often, Tom started looking for things about his past to look dirty things. Daisy and Gatsby were in love when they looked, but between them were a husband and a daughter. One day it was very hot went to the city, and Tom rented a room to drink a bottle of whiskey but there a terrible mess amount, Tom started saying to Gatsby everything he had heard about him and his past, and Gatsby not he stopped and told him that his wife did not want who wanted it to him, started telling Daisy to tell the truth I just wanted to Gatsby but she could not say anything because if only it had been a little had to be loved because she married him but he wished he had not married or had had a child, then got nervous and said he wanted to go home and left with Gatsby in her yellow car to his house. While Nick, Jordan and Tom stayed in the room a bit and then went through the workshop of Mr. Wilson and was told that he would go with his wife, Tom could not afford it because it would lose Myrtle and do not want to lose then it reached an agreement with him, told him that if he brought the blue coupe that would give money and not have to go. The next day Nick and Tom went to the city, and found many people in the workshop, Tom thought it was good because if there had been a clash Wilson would win money and not leave his wife, but he did not expect such a so serious that outside Myrtle died hit by a yellow car accident. Tom felt shattered but George Wilson even more so, everyone wanted to encourage him but failed to do so, Wilson thought it was Tom, who had run over and then fled to kill Myrtle but he could not because he had the blue coupe. Wilson could not be so and had to find out who had run over his wife went to see Tom, and then home Gatsby, he was at the pool and suddenly a shot Butler Gatsby heard he found the body it in the pool and a few meters on Wilson. Nick went to see Tom to ask that she had told Wilson, told that Gatsby was the one who ran over his wife and then fled, but Nick knew he had not been because Jay had told him what happened, it was Daisy who He is driving that day because I was very nervous and thought that if he was driving would happen, did not even realize that he had run over and went to leave the car so did not see anyone. After all this, Nick was responsible for the burial of Jay Gatsby, and try to find people who had known Jay found no one, only found his father, an old man who did not remember much about his son but at least I do not miss that day, and another old man who came to one of the great feasts Jay riding at home, for others no one came.
