Subject: Revision of plural nouns, regular and irregular plurals; indefinite pronouns: anything, something, anyone, someone; vocabulary of foods, countable and uncountable nouns (differences); the use of a /an before singular countable nouns; the use of some and any in plural countable nouns and in uncountable nous. Affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences using there + Be.
Revision and Practice.
I will begin the class by revising the use of regular and irregular plurals. I will show the students real objects, I will put them on a desk.
For example:
T: Look at the desk - I will point some objects (two books) and I will say:
-There are two books on the desk.
I will show a packet of biscuits and I will say:
-There are some biscuits on the desk.
I will show the students two boxes. I will say:
- There are two boxes.
I will stick a chart containing the rules for regular plural nouns.
I will show a picture showing some children playing football, and I will say:
- There are some children playing football.
- Two women are playing tennis.
- Two men are boxing.
I will stick a chart containing the rules for irregular plural nouns.
Written practice.
A) Complete the sentences with the plural of the underlined word.
Example: Jack is my friend.
Paul and Simon are my ___friends__ , too.
1) London is a big city.
Rome and Paris are big …………….. , too.
2) Juan is a student.
You are …………………… , too.
3) Chile is a country in South America.
Argentina y Uruguay are ………………… , too.

I will check the exercise orally. I will write the answers on the board in order to make clear the spelling.
Revision and practice for the test.
In this stage I will revise specific structure for the test. I will provide the students with a copy of an exercise in which they have to use indefinite pronouns.
Before they do the exercise I will make them to remember when we use indefinite pronouns ( to replace nouns= people and things) by interacting with the students.
For example:
I will show the students a bag containing a small ball. I will move the bag and I will say:
- There is something in the bag. It’s a ball.
Then, I will pull the ball out the bag. And I will say:
- There isn’t anything in the bag.
After this I will provide the students with a copy of the following exercise:
