SOCIAL PROBLEMS THAT AFFECT OUR SOCIETY

Los problemas sociales que afectan a nuestra sociedad.

In our ordinary society there are many problems which can affect us in different ways for example:

En nuestra sociedad ordinaria hay muchos problemas los cuales nos pueden afectar en diferentes maneras, por ejemplo:

• Discrimination.

Discriminación.

• Kidnapping.

Secuestro

• Drug Trafficking.

EL narcotráfico.

• Human Trafficking.

Trata de personas.

• Migration.

Migración.

• Among others.

Entre otras.

But these problems didn't appear alone, there're many causes that come from our homes and the way people think, what has made the society fall in these problems.

Pero estos problemas no aparecieron solos, hay muchas causas que vienen desde nuestros hogares y el modo de pensar de las personas, lo que ha hecho a la sociedad caer en estos problemas.

Now we are going to talk about three of the aforementioned problems.

Ahora vamos a hablar acerca de tres de los problemas antes menciona

What's discrimination?

¿Qué es la discriminación?

It's the disadvantageous treatment to someone or many people for some arbitrary reason, as can be religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, employment, language, nationality, among others.

Es el trato desfavorable a una persona o a varias personas por alguna razón arbitraria, como puede ser la religión, la orientación sexual, la edad, la discapacidad, el empleo, el idioma, la nacionalidad, entre otros.

The discrimination is a common social problem that we can see everyday,for example, to that boy who is poor, or have any disability. It’s a problem that one person can't solve, but if everyone were supportive, we would do a different world.

La discriminación es un problema social común que podemos ver todos los días, por ejemplo, a ese niño que es pobre, o tiene alguna discapacidad. Es un problema que una persona no puede resolver, pero si todos fuéramos solidarios, haríamos un mundo diferente.

These are five solutions to this problem that we propose:

Estas son cinco soluciones a este problema que proponemos:

• If people had a different way of thinking, we could see with different eyes to other people.

Si las personas tuvieran una diferente manera de pensar, podríamos ver con diferentes ojos a otras personas.

• If government wasn't arbitrary, people wouldn't be arbitrary as well.

Si el gobierno no fuera arbitrario, las personas no serían así.

• If we thought with equality, we would take the place of the others and be more sensitive.

Si pensaramos con igualdad, tomaríamos el lugar de los otros y ser más sensibles

• If government helped the poorer classes, they would be in a better situation.

Si el gobierno ayudara a las clases pobres, estarían en una mejor situación.

• If teenagers thought different, other teenagers wouldn't be discriminated by their sexual preferences, religion, nationality, etc.

Si los adolescentes pensaran diferente, otros adolescentes no serían discriminados por sus preferencias sexuales, religión, nacionalidad, etc.

Maybe this solutions are not easy to perform, we can't change fastly this problem but if you change first, maybe you could change someone else.

Quizás estas soluciones no son fáciles de realizar, no podemos cambiar rápidamente este problema, pero si cambias primero, quizás podrías cambiar a otra persona.
