  1.  INTRODUCTION

RESEMIN (Representaciones y Servicios Mineros S.A.) is a Peruvian company dedicated to the manufacture and repair of machinery for the exploitation of mines/mains/. It was with the launch of Raptor and Muki with which it managed/menech/ to have a greater market share and be able to market its products to the world. The products it offers are diverse/daivers/. In addition, it offers training services in the maintenance/meintenens/ and operation of machinery to its customers. The company is characterized/caracterais/ by its perseverance/persevirians/ and innovative spirit in search/serch/ of solutions that can satisfy the needs of the customers, which consists of underground mining/mainin/. (RESEMIN, 2020).

This chapter will analyze the strategy of location, size and design of the plant as well as the use of VSM, DOP, Plant Walk-Through and layout.

  1. PLANT LOCATION, SIZE AND LAYOUT STRATEGY

The plant is located in the industrial zone of the Ate district, specifically in Calle Luis Galvani 365 Urbanización Lote Industrial Santa Rosa. The size of the plant is 1,905.57 m2 and a total distance of 183.13 m.

The plant is located in the Ate industrial zone because it offers a wide and extensive territorial space with the necessary infrastructure for companies to carry out each of their industrial activities. Locating a plant in this place is ideal to access various logistical and administrative solutions like the easy access and arrival and departure of suppliers directly from the road. Also, for the proximity to different suppliers for required minor elements for the manufacturing processes.

The industrial zone allows companies optimal production, storage, transportation, among others. In addition to progressively increasing your productivity.

Each area is strategically located to optimize the production times of the process. The planning area is located near the order reception area because both areas must be in constant communication. In addition, the planning area is located in the middle because that way a better control and monitoring of the rest of the areas can be achieved.
