REGULATION FOR THE USE OF THE LABORATORY FACILITIES OF MULTIPORPOSE.

The instructions of the laboratory of multipurpose, has the objective to give general rules for the use of its facilities, appliances, reagent, material and inputs for the teachers of the four schools of the faculty and students who require it.

LABORATORY USE BY TEACHERS

1. In the presence of gas tanks, Acetylene and Hydrogen, is strictly prohibited smoking in the area of laboratory or terrace.

2. Request, with 24 hours of anticipation the use of facilities, equipment, reagents, equipment and supplies.

3. Allow the entry of students in the laboratory if the teacher is present and the office area only under his own responsibility.

4. The students can only use the equipment, reagents, equipment and supplies, which are intended for the practice.

5. To guide students for that facilities are kept clean.

6. The appliances, reagents, supplies and equipment will be delivered to a student before his delivery charter .

7. The teacher in command, should be responsible to have the amount of reagents required for practice.

8. After practice, most be verifed the status and proper operation of equipment, materials and supplies and cleaning that will be returned.

9. In case that the equipment, reagents, consumables and / or materials, presents news in their status, the certificate shall be retained until the object has been replaced and then must be notified to the Agroindustrial Engineering School director or some higher authority in case of his absence.

ANALISIS REQUEST

l. Students, alumni and the general public may request the Public Service Analysis weekday.

2. The sample reception will be held at the Multipurpose Laboratory, 08: 18 H00: H00.

3. The costs of analysis are established in cost of reagents, materials, equipment and supplies needed.

4. There are two rates established for the analysis, these were approved by assembly: one for the general public and another for students and graduates.

5. The graduate that deserves particularly the free realization of their analysis, should formally ask the Lord Dean for approval.

6. If a graduate performs an analysis at no cost, must perform them personally and pay reagents and additives that experimental part of his thesis demands. As for glassware, supplies and equipment required, may use only those that are not engaged in service activities for teachers or analysis to the public.

7. The steps for analysis are:

• Apply for quotation on the Multipurpose Laboratory.

• Make the Payment of 50% or total at the exchequer fo the TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF NORTH.

• Get a copy of the invoice payment that was made.

• Provide a copy of the proforma in the secretariat of the Directorate of School of Engineering Agroindustrial.

• Provide a certified copy in the Multipurpose Laboratory and deliver the right amount for analysis (minimum 100 g or 100 ml). This amount may vary according to the amount of analysis, frequency and type of sample.

STUDENT PRACTICES

1. Students who perform practices in laboratory may belong to any course or school of the Faculty.
