INTRO UNIT
Main Purpose
The purpose of this unit is to provide Ss with some basic classroom language that will enable them to communicate in English at all times during foreign language lessons.
SOCIAL PRACTICES 1. Establishing and maintaining social contacts.
2. Carrying out certain transactions.
FUNCTIONS: 1.1 Greeting People and responding to greetings

2.2 Maintaining communication in and out the classroom.

Ss will find the next activity information in the previous dialogues. 3. T asks Ss to listen and match. 4. T asks Ss to complete formal and informal greetings conversations and compare with the class.
EXTRA ACTIVITY: T Writes some words in English on the board, divides Ss in teams to role play and practice greetings.
