Teacher is going to analyze the sentences that they use the words WHEN and While.-

The sun was shining when Elena got up.

She was having breakfast when the bell rang.

While the woman was driving her car, she received a phone call.

Short action : when + past simple

Long action: while +past continuous

SS ARE GOING TO DO 10 SENTENCES IN THEIR NOTEBOOK USING THE WORDS WHEN  AND WHILE IN PAST SIMPLE AND  PAST CONTINUOUS

It was nine o'clock in the morning.

Everybody in the town was doing their own work. But suddenly a car crashed into a tree.

Everybody share this news with other people. They said

Teacher is going to use the idea from the text. SS are going to work in pairs they are going to write  about an incident at specific place:

REMEMBER: the SS should use past simple, past continuous and the words wen and while.  Work collaboratively and write your story. They are going to use big paper and stick on the wall, next each student will pass to observe the stories.

Then the SS in pairs are going to talk about their incidents. They can share theirs stories with picture.

Remember to set rules: One person is runner and the others are putting  the sentences in the correct order.
