PROYECTO FINAL DE IGLÉS

Buenas tardes, profesor y compañeros de clase. En esta presentación, voy a mostrar cómo realizar un nacimiento hecho a mano y explicaré los materiales y los pasos para crear esta manualidad tan tradicional y significativa. 

Good afternoon, teacher and classmates. In this presentation, I am going to show how to make a handmade Nativity scene and explain the materials and steps to create this traditional and meaningful craft. 

Materiales

• Imágenes impresas de la Virgen María, San José, el Niño Jesús, los Reyes Magos, etc.
• Cartón grueso
• Tijeras
• Silicona
• Temperas y pinceles
• Luces para decorar
• Heno o paja

Materials

• Printed images of the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, Baby Jesus, the Three Wise Men, etc.
• Thick cardboard
• Scissors
• Hot glue (silicone glue)
• Tempera paints and paintbrushes
• Decorative lights
• Hay or straw

Procedimiento para hacer los personajes

1. Busca las imágenes de los personajes del nacimiento.
2. Imprímelas en el tamaño que quieras que queden tus figuras.
3. Recorta cada personaje con cuidado, siguiendo el contorno para que queden bonitas.
4. 3.Pega cada una sobre un pedazo de cartón. Deja secar unos minutos para que no se despeguen.
5. Una vez seco, recorta el cartón siguiendo el borde de la imagen. Asegúrate de que quede firme y con forma.
6. Usa temperas para resaltar los colores de cada personaje. Puedes agregar detalles, sombras o brillos para que queden más vivos. Deja secar completamente.
7. Corta un triángulo o una tira de cartón doblada en forma de “L”. Pega la pieza detrás de la figura para que pueda sostenerse de pie.
8. Coloca a la Virgen María, San José y el Niño Jesús al centro del nacimiento. Añade los Reyes Magos, animales o lo que quieras alrededor.
9. Decora con luces, papel para el suelo, musgo o estrellitas si deseas.

Procedure for Making the Nativity Characters

1. Look for images of the Nativity characters.
2. Print them in the size you want your figures to be.
3. Carefully cut out each character, following the outline so they look neat.
4. Glue each one onto a piece of cardboard. Let it dry for a few minutes so it doesn’t come off.
5. Once dry, cut the cardboard following the edge of the image. Make sure it is firm and well-shaped.
6. Use tempera paints to enhance the colors of each character. You can add details, shadows, or highlights to make them look more lively. Let them dry completely.
7. Cut a triangle or a strip of cardboard folded into an “L” shape. Glue the piece to the back of the figure so it can stand upright.
8. Place the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, and Baby Jesus at the center of the Nativity scene. Add the Three Wise Men, animals, or anything else you want around them.
9. Decorate with lights, paper for the ground, moss, or little stars if you wish.

Procedimiento para hacer el pesebre (nacimiento):

Paso 1: Preparación de piezas

• Corta dos piezas de cartón iguales para el techo.
• Prepara:

• 4 tubos de cartón (pueden ser de papel toalla o papel higiénico reforzados).
• 1 base de cartón resistente.
• 6 barritas de refuerzo (pueden ser palitos de madera, cartón enrollado o pajillas duras).

Paso 2: Ensamblaje

1. Pega los cuatro tubos a la base formando un rectángulo. Asegúrate de que queden derechos.
2. Cuando estén secos, pega dos barritas en cada lado uniendo los tubos entre sí (parte superior e intermedia).
3. Pega las dos piezas del techo sobre los tubos, dejando un pequeño ángulo como si fuera un tejado real.
4. Refuerza todas las uniones con silicona caliente o cinta kraft por dentro.

Paso 3: Decoración y pintura

• Pinta toda la estructura (tubos, barritas y techo) de color marrón o tonos madera.
• Añadir paja o papel picado en la base para simular el suelo del establo.
• Colocar una estrella en la parte superior del techo.

Procedure for Making the Nativity Stable:

Step 1: Preparing the Pieces

• Cut two identical pieces of cardboard for the roof.
• Prepare:

• 4 cardboard tubes (they can be from paper towels or reinforced toilet paper rolls).
• 1 sturdy cardboard base.
• 6 reinforcement sticks (they can be wooden sticks, rolled cardboard, or sturdy straws).

Step 2: Assembly

1. Glue the four tubes to the base, forming a rectangle. Make sure they stand straight.
2. Once they are dry, glue two reinforcement sticks on each side, connecting the tubes (one at the top and one in the middle).
3. Glue the two roof pieces on top of the tubes, leaving a slight angle like a real roof.
4. Reinforce all the joints with hot glue or kraft tape on the inside.

Step 3: Decoration and Painting

• Paint the entire structure (tubes, sticks, and roof) in brown or wood-like tones.
• Add hay or shredded paper on the base to simulate the stable floor.
• Place a star at the top of the roof.
